A few of my favorite things!

I'm currently facing a bit of a challenge with my photography. The recent time change has significantly impacted my ability to capture quality photos in the evening, which is precisely when I'm preparing dinner! This has been quite frustrating. While I have some potential blog topics, they aren't what I feel like sharing right now.


I refuse to disappoint my readers, so I'm taking a brief hiatus, about a week, to re-evaluate my goals for the rest of the year. Don't worry, I'll be back next week feeling completely refreshed. I genuinely enjoy this blog and have so much more to share with you all! I'm also really looking forward to the new year and all the exciting things to come. I'm always open to your suggestions and comments, so please feel free to connect with me here.


In the meantime, I thought it would be fun to share some of my current favorite things with you!


I'm slowly but surely learning to knit! While searching for knitting inspiration, I discovered the amazing website Ravelry. It's a fantastic resource for both knitters and crocheters, packed with tons of patterns and ideas! Of course, I always dive in headfirst when learning a new skill. I'm currently working on these legwarmers for Lucy for the winter. I can't wait to see how they turn out – I'm using four needles at once, yikes! Next on my list is to make some cute fingerless mitts.

















This is my favorite color right now OPI Russian Navy!  I love that it’s so dark with a slight sparkle! 




















I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet, but I can't help myself—I'm already listening to Christmas music! I just love it! You absolutely have to check out Kelly Clarkson's new album; it's wonderful, and her voice is incredible!

My favorite part of the week is watching this show on Mondays at 9 PM! It contains all the elements I look for in a TV series. If you haven’t started watching it, you should!

Homemade Basics: Flour Tortillas

Celebrating its one-month blogaversary, this blog has exceeded all expectations! With 1300 page views, a picture featured on FoodGawker, and a Facebook page boasting 50 likes, it's been an incredible journey. Blood Orange Margaritas

Flipping through social media yesterday, I was inundated with mouth-watering images of margaritas for National Margarita Day. Naturally, I had to have one! I wanted to try a new flavor, and when I stumbled upon this recipe from Confections of a Foodie Bride's blog, I knew it was the one. I've only had blood oranges a few times, but since they're in season and readily available, it was a no-brainer. They completely surpassed my expectations – so good, and her recipe made the perfect two margaritas. Next year, I'm definitely setting a calendar reminder for National Margarita Day!
